Mobility

All these projects are part of the "Brains on the Move" mobility action plan of the Flemish Department of Education & Training. Student mobility
VLUHR-i manages the scholarships linked to the Mobility Action Plan "Brains on the Move", which is subsidised by the Flemish Department of Education & Training. On this page you will find an overview of all the calls for the scholarship programmes.
Recruitment fairs
VLUHR-i participates annually in international recruitment fairs to promote Flanders and Brussels as a study destination among potential students.
World@School
The World@School is a project that Study in Flanders implemented the academic year 2017-2018, with the support of the Flemish Department of Education and Training, to promote internationalisation also in primary and secondary schools.
Summer courses
The department of Education & Training grants per academic year funding to five summer courses organized at the Flemish higher education institutions. The funding programme is managed by VLUHR-i.
Joint courses
The Flemish government grants a start-up grant to bachelor and/or master programmes that are offered jointly with (an) international institution(s). VLUHR-i manages and supports the funding programme.
Professorships
Every year, three professors from Flemish universities can work as guest lecturers in the U.S. It is a collaboration between the Flemish and American universities and the Flemish department of Education and Training.
