UK Erasmus Graduate mobility visa route
ESPA has been creating fantastic internships in the UK, for international students, for over 12 years. The landscape has changed in the past 5 years, with the ramifications of BREXIT and leaving the Erasmus+ scheme and the purpose of the webinar is to let attendees know how students can come to the UK for an internship, with the Temporary Worker Government Authorised Exchange Certificate of Sponsorship (TWGAE CoS) and a visa. We have established a great relationship a global firm of immigration lawyers for CoS applications. This firm is one of only three organisations in the UK authorised to hold the specific TWGAE sponsor licence, and their scheme allows for graduates to apply for this CoS route as well. We continue to provide fantastic internships and I handle the preparation and submission of all necessary documents for the CoS on behalf of the student, University and the host company.
IAESTE UK was relaunched last year, it was previously run by British Council but they were decommissioned from it when we left the Erasmus+ scheme. IAESTE is the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) and is a global non-governmental, non-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing technical education through international exchange programmes founded in 1948. It serves 20 000 students, 3000 employers and 1000 academic institutions through career-focused international placement programmes, social and intercultural events, international networking and other career and employer branding activities in more than 100 countries worldwide.
